The current plan is a free, in-person Open Cohort for people in Buffalo and Western New York who want to learn and build with AI. There are no announced dates and no active cohort today.
What exists now
People can register interest in the planned cohort, search a free source-attributed Western New York jobs index, and browse an independently hosted events calendar. Buffalo Projects does not operate the listed jobs or external events.
How the project changed
Earlier versions explored public work records, project discovery, and accelerator-style programs. That software remains part of the repository’s history, but it is not the current public promise. The present direction is narrower: make it easier for local people to learn together, find useful opportunities, and verify the source.
Who is responsible
Buffalo Projects was founded by Jacob Rhinehart in Buffalo, New York. The project publishes what it can support with evidence and labels plans as plans.
