Substitute Teacher
West Valley Central School is seeking dependable and enthusiastic substitute teachers to support students in grades UPK–12.
Responsibilities
- Follow classroom lesson plans and teacher instructions
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
- Supervise students throughout the school day
- Follow district policies and procedures
- Communicate relevant information to the classroom teacher and administration
Daily Rate
- Certified teachers: $140 per day
- Non-certified substitutes: $125 per day
- After 10 consecutive weeks in the same assignment:
- Certified teachers: $167 per day
- Non-certified substitutes: $130 per day
