Full description
The Department of Marketing in the School of Management at the University at Buffalo (UB), a flagship member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and a leading public research university, invites applications for a non-tenure-track qualified faculty position in Marketing Department.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the School of Management through excellence in teaching, service, and, for qualified candidates, leadership of the School's Behavioral Research Lab. Primary teaching responsibilities will include the delivery of eight to nine courses annually in marketing or related areas. Service expectations include active engagement with the department, school, university, and broader community through activities such as advising student organizations, serving on committees, and supporting outreach initiatives.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, the department welcomes applications from candidates interested and qualified to serve as Manager of the Behavioral Research Lab. In this leadership role, the successful candidate will provide strategic direction and operational oversight for behavioral research activities that support faculty, doctoral students, and other researchers across the School of Management. The ideal candidate will possess expertise at the intersection of behavioral science and industry engagement, serving as a key liaison among faculty researchers, corporate partners, and advanced biometric and behavioral research technologies.
The department seeks to fill this position immediately and will consider candidates for either a teaching-focused faculty appointment or a combined teaching and lab management role. Depending on the responsibilities assigned, the appointment may be structured as either an academic year or a 12-month position.
For full consideration, applicants should submit their application materials by October 16, 2026. Review of applications will begin immediately, and the position will remain open until filled.
