Full description
The School of Management is seeking a Staff Assistant to provide administrative and operational support across academic departments.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide general administrative support, including assisting with the coordination and supervision of Graduate Assistants, Teaching Assistants, Student Assistants, and Student Interns.
- Support student hiring and appointment processing, including collecting required documentation, initiating personnel transactions (ePTFs), and communicating with faculty, staff, and students regarding appointment-related information.
- Coordinate with the Business Office to confirm appropriate funding and account information for student appointments and assist with related correspondence and documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between department leadership, faculty, staff, and central offices to support administrative operations and resolve routine matters.
- Support departmental purchasing and financial processes, including preparing and submitting documentation, tracking expenses, and coordinating with the Business Office.
- Assist with the coordination and planning of meetings, presentations, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and communication.
- Prepare and compile basic reports, correspondence, documents, and departmental materials as needed.
