Social Worker MSW
Location: Olean General Hospital
Location of Job: US:NY:Olean

Job Description
This position is responsible for conducting psychosocial evaluations for both the adult and geriatric psychiatric patients, participating in team review of patient progress recommending changes in the treatment based on the patient’s current psychosocial needs, and providing casework services and group therapy to patients and their families in dealing with psychiatric diseases.
Education And Credentials
Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program. New York State licensure required. BLS required within 90-days of start date. Crisis Prevention Intervention training required within 12-months of start date.
Experience
Two (2) years experience in a hospital setting or related social agency preferred. Previous mental health experience preferred. Assignments require some investigation and some independent judgment.
