Full description
Responsibilities/Experience:
-
Posting is for long term substitute position in a 12:1:3:1 special class, grade band (K-2)

Strong background working with Students with Disabilities in a primary self-contained setting
-
Ability to create Next Generation Learning Standards aligned lesson plans and implement specially designed instruction for students at the Elementary level
-
Outstanding communication skills
-
Exemplary skills working with colleagues to plan and problem-solve
-
Outstanding ability to create accommodations to meet students unique needs
-
Experience developing comprehensive Individual Education Plans

Experience designing individual and class-wide behavior interventions
-
Ability to implement specially designed instruction
-
Knowledge of explicit direct instruction
-
Willing to receive Safety Cares certification
