About this event
Hands-on letterpress printing basics workshop – art class in the Book Arts Studio! Learn the ins & outs of letterpress printing. Peruse our collection of vintage metal & wood type, images (cuts) and ornaments to create a truly unique card or poster. Participants will learn the basics of hand setting type and building simple sound designs, paper prep & press set-up and, of course, printing on our Vandercook presses. Each participant will finish the class with a uniquely designed hand-printed poster or set of greeting cards.
