About this event
Did you know the Central Library houses a special Map Collection containing maps, atlases, and charts covering Western New York, the world, and even the Milky Way galaxy? Did you know the collection has over 70,000 maps with works created as far back as 1452?! Come see an overview of this fascinating collection during this free behind-the-scenes tour of the Grosvenor Room Map Collection! The tour will last for around one hour, covering the collections found in the Grosvenor Room but also in the library stacks that are normally not accessible to the public. Registration is required.
